This 6-lesson beginner course is designed to help students understand watercolour basics. Through step-by-step instruction, you’ll explore pigments, how to mix them, and learn about washes and painting techniques. Start painting with confidence even if you have never painted before. Have fun while working on a variety of beautiful subjects: landscapes, flowers, and animals, and create your own masterpieces!

This 6-lesson course introduces students to the techniques of the great watercolour masters. By learning traditional methods, students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to continue on their own. Students will learn how to build value, find the balance of light and shadow, build strong compositions and work with colours. Some experience with watercolours is recommended. Beginners should take Modern Watercolour or equivalent first.

The program of each lesson is very flexible, and I will change it, taking into account your capabilities and desires. After each lesson, you can send your artwork and get personal advice.
